Since we've only got one day left of January(seems like it's been here forever!), I thought I'd share a decorating tradition of my mother's that I've decided to carry on.

Since we spend all Christmas serving with, eating on, and wrapping red and white patterns, Mom trades the red out for blue when the new year hits. To me, it brings out the icy cool of winter by contrasting the deep blues and crisp whites.
