intriguing idea

After brushing our sweet Ragdolls kitties the other day (and dealing with the resulting monster pile of cat hair) I remembered something I'd heard a long time ago. Spinning your cat's hair into yarn!
Maybe that sounds a bit extreme to you non-animal enthusiasts, but hey, I would love to find something useful to do with all that hair!! Especially since I've recently gotten into knitting, this idea really intrigues me.
